Reading from Joel 2:23 & 24 which is the promise for the week, Pastor Nomthi during the September 16 Sunday service admonished the congregation to cultivate the attitude of joy in every situation. According to her, that is the command of God to them; and when they do this, everything they have been waiting on God for would come to manifestation. “When the Chief Commander has said you should rejoice, then you have to do it irrespective of what is going on. You are indirectly planting seeds; they will surely germinate and you’ll harvest your miracle,” she said.
She urged them not to allow the devil and his cohorts to hinder them by sowing the seed of sadness in their hearts. In her words, “The devil has no say in your joy, so don’t let him hinder you from rejoicing in the Lord who has promised you. Just believe the Word of God and let your praise go up. Offend the devil with your praise, and don’t be sorry when you offend people with your joy.”
