Speaking from John 15:14-18, Pastor Taiwo at the October 21 Sunday service said that every born again child of God becomes a covenant friend of God and has the right to live, reign and dominate like Him on earth. “When you received Christ into your life, you stopped being a slave but a covenant partner with Him because the regeneration of son-ship has already taken place,” he said.
He also noted that when such a believer doesn’t know his or her right in Christ, such a person would still be living like a slave. According to him, the covenant God has with His own is a bilateral one where they also have access to His whole authority. “The One who sent you has all the power and He said signs and wonders will follow you in Jesus’ name. There are certain things Jesus didn’t do just so you can do them. So stop meditating on the lies of the devil, occupy your office,” he stated.
Reading from Hebrews 13:20, John 16:20, Hebrews 2:1-9, Mathew 28:18-19, and Acts 3: 12- 16 Pastor encouraged Christians never to think less of themselves or the authority they have in Christ but to continue to live and express it. This, he said, would happen when they fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

Pastor Taiwo Odukoya has urged Christians on the importance of knowing who they are and what they have in Christ, like the three Hebrew children as this is what guarantees their miracles and reigning in life. He said this at the October 18 Thursday Showers Service. “When you believe in Christ and receive Him, you have eternal life but you will reign in life when you have the understanding of who you are in Christ,” he said.
Speaking from Romans 5:17, Pastor Taiwo noted that abundant grace and the gift of righteousness can only be gotten through salvation. He explained that being born again always attract miracles reserved for the sons. He further noted that every child of God has the covenant right both in the blood and name of Jesus Christ since they share His divine nature. “You are no more alone. You have become a vital part of Him and you have the right in the name of Jesus Christ. You only need to understand and use it,” he noted.
He then admonished everyone to always make use of their right in Christ as that is when they will have results. “The name of Jesus is your covenant right as a child of God. So, use it because it will yield result,” he stated.
