Pastor Nomthi has urged Christians to get to the level of having a rigid trust in God even in the face of seeming disappointments. She said this while admonishing the congregation at the October 21 Sunday service from Luke 1:45, which also is the promise for the week. “I want you to get to that place where nobody can sway you from believing in God.”
According to her, rather than a nonchalant attitude, a believer should always have a good attitude as well as a life of expectation. This, she said, reveals the heart of such a believer and such would always get God’s attention and the miraculous. “God is a miracle working God who cares for you and you need to believe Him and have a good attitude towards Him and His word,” she said.

Using the lives of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego as recorded in the Book of Daniel 3:24-29 as illustration, Pastor Nomthi at the October 18 Thursday showers said that God’s children should get to a point where nothing would make them shift their faith and trust in Him. According to her, there is no one who ever trusts God even to the point of death that ever gets disappointed. “God will always show up for you when you stand for Him,” she said.
She also noted that the devil has idols which he wants God’s children to bow to and would increase the heat of the challenges when they decide to cling to God’s promises. Such time, she said, is when believers should stand firm because He would bring them out of the challenges unburnt like the three Hebrew children. “Don’t be discouraged because your God is in charge, He’s with you and won’t leave you. No matter what the devil is throwing your way, trust God and stand on His word. He will save you,” she stated.
She therefore urged every believer never to doubt God’s power to deliver them from every threat and troubles from the devil.
