Today’s Scripture: Psalm 5:12
For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him
as with a shield.
If I ask you to describe a blessed person, you would most probably tell me about how fulfilled and happy such a person is. You would tell me how he/she does not seem to struggle to get what he/she needs. They have all the basic things of life money can provide. Their children are healthy, happy and smart. They are successful with their careers or business, and brilliant as students; in trying situations they are calm and unperturbed, coming out unscathed and stronger.
Indeed, these are the fruits of the blessing. You cannot be blessed and be poor, sickly, or given to despair. While the blessing of God is intangible, its fruits are tangible and obvious to all. The truth is, the blessing affects every area of your life, and brings the desired victory. Take an inventory of everyone who bore the blessing: Abraham was healthy, vigorous, wealthy and influential; Isaac inherited the blessing, and bore its fruits of health, prosperity, and influence; Jacob flourished everywhere he went.
You are an heir of the blessing in Christ Jesus; you cannot but expect to be in health; to be prosperous and influential. You have God’s supernatural endowment to produce and be prosperous; you have the weight of heaven at your disposal to protect and keep you from evil. You have a right in the covenant to expect and receive the many manifestations of the blessing, just as you have a responsibility in the covenant to obey God’s instructions.
You are blessed. Walk with a confident assurance of this, and expect the results of the blessing to flood your life. Situations may sometimes seem contrary, but do not be perturbed. The blessing will not only catch up with you, it will overtake you, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer/Confession:
Father, I thank You for the fruits of the blessing evident in my life. I receive the fruits of God’s blessings, in Jesus’ name. I am blessed. I am prosperous. I am healthy. No evil shall befall me or my family, in Jesus’ name.
