God already knows about your troubles but you have to still tell Him. If you are not talking to Him about it, it may mean you are still comfortable with the trouble. Pastor Nomthi said this at the January 27 Sunday service while encouraging the congregation from Philippians 4:6, which is the promise for the week.
According to her, prayer is a vital weapon of victory for a believer in any situation. “Your praise and prayer are stones you can use to defeat the devil. When you are faced with any form of trouble, you don’t need to discuss with the devil; pick up your stone and throw at him,” she urged.

Pastor Nomthi, during her ministration at the January 24 Thursday Showers service, noted that the devil always uses challenges to distract believers from remembering and believing God’s promises to them by making them say contrary things, just like the disciples of Christ were still having the sad conversation on their way to Emmaus even though Christ was with them as recorded in Luke 24:13-27.
According to her, believers should not allow any sort of distraction take their hearts away from God’s word and promises. In her words, “What has God told you right now that you doubt? The promise might look far off but you should always remember the promises of God. Your conversation must be right with the Word of God because sad conversation does not reflect our Jerusalem – spiritually.”
She therefore urged them to always remind themselves of the good things God has done for them and believe that He is able to further settle them. “Let us return to Jerusalem—the land of promise,” she enjoined.
