Pastor Taiwo Odukoya @Sunday Services
Dwelling on King Jehoshaphat’s experience with the three kings who formed an alliance against him and his subsequent victory over them as recorded in 2 Chronicles 20:21-30, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya at the February 24 Sunday services said that fear usually grips people’s heart as a result of troubles; however, as believers, our confidence should always be in God who is able to fight, win the battle and give rest to His children, just as He did for King Jehoshaphat.
According to him, God is the only perfect strategist and should be the only One to seek advice from on how to handle any situation in life. This, he said, we can achieve by always seeking His presence and giving Him praise. “Whatever the problem is, His presence is all you need. Once you are sure of His presence, you will walk through the fire, water and the lions’ den and you will come out victorious,” he noted.
He then urged them to always praise God, even in the face of trials, because it brings the victory of God. “Faith doesn’t deny the fact, it only establishes your expectation until it manifests. You will return with singing and dancing in the name of Jesus,” he said.

NIGERIA, THE TRIGGER OF WOLRD REVIVAL
Pastor Clem Esomowei @Thursday Showers
Pastor Clem Esomowei of Triumphant Church International, London, United Kingdom, who was the guest minister at the February 21 Thursday Showers service said believers’ first duty is prayer and soul winning. According to him, they are kings, priests and intercessors, so Nigerian Christians should never be weary of praying for the country because God will use her to spearhead a great revival in Africa and the rest of the world. “Every great ministry and revival on earth were birthed through prayers. You can never pray enough,” he stated.
Speaking from 1 Thessalonians 5:17, Isaiah 62:6-9, and 2 Chronicles 7:14, he noted that believers ought to have an attitude of prayer always. In his words, “No day should pass by without us praying because the more we pray, the more we break through, the more demons run away from us, and the more we hit our destiny and the things we seek run after us.”
Illustrating with the map of Africa, he said that the continent is like a gun with Nigeria being the trigger. “God is going to use Nigeria to spark revival in the world. Nigeria is the trigger of end-time revival. You are significant to God and that is why the country is the focus of the world as well. So the body of Christ in Nigeria should not be tired of praying for Nigeria,” he said.
