Pastor Taiwo Odukoya has charged believers to consciously live by the blood of Jesus Christ, which is the blood of the covenant, and appropriate its power to every situation confronting them. He said this at the March 31 Family Sunday service. According to him, God’s intention is for believers to tackle the devil and overcome him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.
Speaking from Revelation 12:11, he noted that those who are born again will always overcome by the blood of Jesus and by the word of their testimony. “As Christians, we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the testimony of the finished work of Christ. The blood of Jesus is the only thing that can restore everything that the devil has stolen,” he stated.
He therefore urged the congregation to get into the Word of God and keep confessing it, irrespective of the situation. This, he said, would protect them from the deceits of the devil. “The blood doesn’t speak fear or deceit. So speak what the blood speaks and see situations turn around,” he said.
“THE BLOOD OF JESUS – OUR KEY”

In continuation of his teaching on the blood of Jesus, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya told the worshippers at the March 28 Thursday Showers service that the blood of Jesus restored to man the right of dominion and the sweet fellowship with God which he lost in the Garden of Eden. The blood, according to him, also removes fear which is a consequence of the fall. “The day you make Jesus the Lord over your life, the blood of Jesus becomes your covering and the antidote to fear,” he said.
Dwelling on Exodus 12:1-8; 11:1 and Hebrews 12:18-24, he said that for believers to maximally enjoy the warm embrace of the Father, they need understanding and faith. In his words, “There is no blood as powerful as the blood of Jesus, but if you don’t know this, believe in it and be confident about it, you will still be mesmerized by the devil. You need to believe in the blood.”
He then enjoined believers never to take the blood for granted. “The blood of Jesus is the solution to the most stubborn problems in your life. It doesn’t matter the multitudes against you or what is not working, just plead the blood and relax,” he urged.
