Not a single promise of God has failed, will fail or can ever fail. God will always keep His promises. His promises are Yes and Amen. Pastor Nomthi said this at the December 8 Sunday service while speaking on the promise for this week in 1 Kings 8:56.
According to her, believers do not need to be afraid because God is in full control of their lives, noting that He is a covenant-keeping God. “God has got your back and He will never leave you nor forsake you. You may not see the manifestation of His promises now but have faith in Him and you will receive your own good testimonies,” she said.
She then encouraged them to resolve in their mind to trust God totally. “Enter and enjoy God’s rest through prayers and give all your worries to Him. He will surely let His good promises for your life come to pass,” she stated.

Pastor Nomthi at the December 5 Thursday Showers service reminded the congregation about their triumph in Christ even in the face of trials and challenges, noting that they should not be afraid to confront challenges and declare God’s Word to their situations. “Christ has caused us to triumph,” she said.
Citing 2 Corinthians 2, she said that forgiveness plays a major role in accessing our triumph in Christ. “No situation can hold you down as long as you have forgiveness. You will tell your story without any form of bitterness. Then, God will always fight your battles no matter how warped the system is. Your only weapon is forgiveness,” she stated.
