Pastor Nomthi has encouraged believers never to echo the devil’s suggestions but to rather confess God’s mind-set and promise to them. She said this at the September 24 Thursday showers while encouraging the onsite participants.
Speaking from Lamentations 5:17-19, she said that God is always the same and never gets confused about any challenge faced by His children. This is why, according to her, believers should not confess negative things no matter how bad they feel but to always say positive things. “Even when you’ve been through the negative, don’t pronounce it, pronounce positively,” she stated.
She assured them of God’s intervention as long as they don’t get weary. “The devil will try to intimidate you but don’t leave your post, don’t let him shut your mouth. Remember God’s promise for your life and shut the devil up whenever he comes to you with his negative thoughts. Tell him that you’re not confused because the throne of your God is from Generation to Generation,” she said.
