THERE IS A PLACE, THERE IS A PURPOSE

Pastor Yemisi Akindolie @ Sunday Second Service
There is a plan, a purpose and much more. God has called every believer for a purpose through His own will irrespective whatever circumstances such believer may be going through. Pastor Yemisi Akindolie said this during her admonition to the congregation at the February 7 Sunday second service. “You are divinely appointed according to the plan of God. You may not look like it now but God has chosen you and there is no strategist that can beat God’s own,” she said.
Speaking from 1 Corinthians 1:1-3, the clergy said that every location has its own characteristics which are made to suit the creature – the characteristics of water are made to suit the fish and that of the air made to suit the bird. In the same manner, the characteristics that will suit humans as God’s creatures is where they have been located but having a fulfilled and thriving life is only located in Christ. “God created us and located us where we will thrive best and that location is in Christ no matter where you are located physically,” she said.
The clergy further said that there are numerous possessions God wants His children to possess, and He has given them the needed equipment (requirements) to mine deep; noting that the Holy Ghost is the helper that will help them to effectively mine those treasures. “God has given you equipment fitted to mine the treasures and possessions He has for you. You can fulfill your divine appointment through Christ who strengthens you,” she noted.
She therefore urged them to fulfil purpose of Christ wherever they find themselves, leveraging on the help of the Holy Spirit and God’s word. “When you walk in the fullness of His plan with all He has appointed for you to fulfill purpose according to His plan and with the help of the Holy Spirit, the power of His word and by faith, then you are walking on the face of the earth as He wants you to,” she urged.

POSSESSING YOUR POSSESSIONS
Pastor Abiodun Soderu @ Thursday Showers
Pastor Abiodun Soderu has declared that God’s words are true and will definitely come to pass in the lives of His children if they will rise up and claim it. He said this at the February 4 Thursday showers which held at the main auditorium of The Fountain of Life Church.
Taking his bible references from Obadiah 1:17, I Timothy 1:18-19, I Kings 18:41-45, Zechariah 2:5, John 1:14-16, Luke 1:37, Luke 1:45, Mark 11:14, Mathew 7:7, and Mark 11:24, Pastor Soderu, who insisted that the problem is never with God, but man, noted that the word of God has the tendency to create something out of nothing.
According to him, “Prophecies are to be fought with. You are expected to wage a good warfare with the word of God. Jesus is coming very soon, and in the world, things are never going to get better. Between now and the time Jesus will come, Heaven and hell will invade the earth. You will see miracles that has never been seen before.”
The clergy further stated that it remains useless for a child of God to have a weapon and cannot unleash the weapon. He said, “It is the word of God that we act upon that moves heaven and not our cries and complaints. You have to embrace the principles of God before things will begin to happen around you. You don’t stop praying when you have burdens.”
He therefore urged the worshippers to pray always and not faint, with an addition that nothing changes until same is changed. “Whenever God gives us a word, we have to claim it, meditate it and run with it,” he said.

THE WORD OF GOD IS THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT
Pastor Atinuke Olashore @ Sunday First Service
Members of The Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju were admonished by Pastor Atinuke Olashore during the February 7 Sunday first service to trust in the Supernatural God who alone can intervene in their situations
While addressing the congregation from Obadiah 1:17, II Chronicles 20:20b, Jeremiah 32:17, Jeremiah 32:37, Genesis 18:9-14, Mathew 17:20, Mark 11:24, Mark 9:23b, Numbers 23:19 and James 1:6a, Pastor Olashore noted that unbelief is a tool that can make them not to receive any of God’s promise. According to her, believers need to believe that God is great, and that it is only a great God that can say to them that they will possess their possessions.
She said, “The only reason you will not possess your possessions is because you do not believe He is great. God is an awesome God and He speaks to you the way you will understand. Your body is a temple of the Holy Ghost. You need to believe the word of the prophet and the word will become prosperous in your lives.”
While describing God as the God of all flesh, the clergy insisted that the word of God does not fail and He deals with believers the way they are.
She asked the worshippers to not despise the word of God, but rather, they should stand firm on the promise God has made to them. “The word of God is the sword of the Spirit. The devil hates you with great hatred, and he spends more time plotting on how to deal with you while you are seated and sleeping,” she added.
Pastor Olashore urged the worshippers to find time, no matter what it takes, to study the word of God, with a further position that there is nothing too hard for God to do.
