Pastor Jimmy Odukoya @ Sunday Service
November 12 Sunday service was a special experience for worshippers at The Fountain of Life Church. The Senior Pastor of the Church, Jimmy Odukoya ministered prophetically during the service.
While leading the congregation in a series of worship that grew in intensity, the clergy declared that the name of Jesus Christ is mighty to open any closed doors. Sharing his personal experience of how the name of his parents, Pastors Taiwo and Bimbo Odukoya, opened a seemingly impossible door for him, Pastor Jimmy urged the congregation to cast their burden on Jesus as His name is greater than any other name, adding that He cares for them beyond their imagination. “Beloved, God sees. His hands are not too short to save, and He is not too busy for you,” he said.
Continuing his ministration, Pastor Jimmy recalled the story of Haggai where the Bible declared that she was harshly treated by Sarah, empahsising the fact that God heard the cries of even a servant and attended to the pains of her heart.
Providing further examples of God’s faithfulness, he cited Psalm 51:7 to buttress that just as earthly parents would oblige the request of their children in need of help, God is always ready and would help those who ask Him. “He is the Father to the fatherless, the husband to the widow, the mother to the motherless. If you need His help, just raise your hands, and ask Him to help you. Cast your cares upon Him now,” he enjoined.
While still leading the church in prophetic worship, the Senior Pastor acknowledged the intervention of the Holy Spirit as well as prayers of thanksgiving to God as vital ways of experiencing His presence. He thereafter made special declarations over the congregation with regard to the week ahead.

The November 9, 2023 Thursday Showers was a mix of praise, worship, prophetic declarations and intercessions as Pastor Jimmy Odukoya was led by the Holy Spirit to pray for those who were burdened and needed God’s intervention as well as healing.
The Senior Pastor, while ministering to the congregation, said that God has the best and most unpredictable strategies of fighting battles for His own, adding that victory is assured when they allow Him fight for them.
In his words, “A commander knows how to devise and execute plans to defeat his enemy. When we let God fight our battles, we can be assured that He has the best and most unpredictable strategies.”
He continued, “God is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. He knows everything before it happens and He fights for us against visible and invisible enemies, and even against future threats. You don’t have to worry or be afraid of what the enemy may try to do. You cannot surprise the One who sees all things.”
He then urged them to be still and put their absolute trust in God as that is when their victory is guaranteed. “Be still and know that He is God. This is your month of Glorious Encounters. You will not only see God’s deliverance, you will also pursue, overtake and recover all that the enemy has stolen from you,” he said.
