Pastor Taiwo @ Sunday Service
It was joy unlimited at the June 25 Sunday services as the church chose that date to celebrate fathers. Pastor Taiwo, in his message, said that fatherhood is a blessing. According to him, it transcends having biological children; it is a calling with blessings as demonstrated by God through His love, care, blessing, provision and protection for His children. “Fatherhood is a calling
that is laden with success, abundance, and prosperity. It never happens except as God ordains it to be,” he said. Using God’s reassurance of His covenant with Abraham recorded in Genesis 17: 1-7 as an example, he said that when a believer understands that he or she has a covenant with God, it becomes easier for him or her to walk in the reality of his or her true identity. This assurance of self-identification in God, he said, eliminates fear of poverty, death and all fiery darts of the enemy. “Christianity begins at the finished work of Christ. Therefore see yourself as God’s child and walk like one,” he enjoined. He further stated that there is the need for a change of mentality and mindset to be able to fulfil the calling of fatherhood just as Abraham’s name, mindset and circumstance were altered for him to fulfil that purpose.
He therefore urged fathers to always know that they have been called into the ministry of fatherhood and so begin to take charge of their homes and declare what has been written concerning them and not what the devil is saying. “As a father, you can stop the devil from working in your home, so take charge,” he said.

WALK BY FAITH
Pastor Taiwo @ Thursday Showers
Although hearing the Word of God is the beginning of turnaround in a believer’s life, this does not yield manifestation until it mixes with faith and consistent confession. These were the words of Pastor Taiwo at the June 22 Thursday Showers service. “The Word of God comes to physical manifestation in your life when you keep saying it in faith,” he said.
He gave the example of the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:25-8, who added faith to her repeated confession of healing, and this birthed her miracle.
He dwelt on 2 Corinthians 5:7 and Romans 4:17-21 to reveal that when one is not weak in confessing God’s words over one’s situations like Abraham did in Romans 4:17-21, miraculous manifestations are inevitable. “Don’t let your condition dictate your future. Only walk by faith and keep confessing His Word,” he said.
