PASTOR NOMTHI’S WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT ON SEPTEMBER 21
Speaking from John 1:19-24, Pastor Nomthi at the September 28 Thursday Showers said that every child of God would always be confronted with daunting situations that would question their identity in Christ just as John the Baptist was questioned about his identity.
According to her, the devil uses these challenging situations to get them confused about their identity in Christ and if such a believer could just get confused and changed his or her positive confession, then the devil gets a foothold in such a life. She therefore urged them to always answer him from the word of God no matter his intimidation. “The devil is a liar and has lost the battle. So confront him and boldly declare who you are in Christ,” she said.
PASTOR NOMTHI’S WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT @ SUNDAY SERVICE
“There are great and mighty things you don’t know of; but if you call on Jesus, He will show you.” These were the words of encouragement from Pastor Nomthi to the congregation of the October 1 Sunday service as she shared the promise for the week which was taken from Jeremiah 33:3.
She further noted that no human can help anyone like God. According to her, most times when people can’t offer help as adequately as needed, they just ignore or avoid the person. But this is not with God. In her words, “He has assured us that when we call on Him, He will answer us and show us great and mighty things.”
She then enjoined the church to always call on the name of Jesus with a heart of expectation.
