Pastor Taiwo @ Sunday Services
Highlighting God’s relationship with His children based on covenant, Pastor Taiwo at the February 18 Sunday services stated that when the reality of God’s covenant dawns on believers, it drives away every fear and distraction. “God is the One that initiates covenant with man and also empowers him to actualize His purpose,” he said.
Citing the examples of Noah’s ark and Bezaleel’s architectural ingenuity in Genesis 6:13-18 and 12:1, Pastor Taiwo stated that every child of GOD is the best in his or her chosen profession if he or she understands covenant. According to him, when believers become conscious of their relationship with Christ, they will do great exploits. “When you know that you are not alone but that you are living and working with your Creator who can take you to the highest point in life, you will not be intimidated,” he said.
He admonished them to always be conscious of the covenant because that is when it becomes a reality in their lives. “It is impossible to live as a child of the Kingdom without the help of GOD,” he said.

“GREAT GRACE”
Pastor Taiwo @Thursday Showers
Pastor Taiwo at the February 15 Thursday Showers service said that grace is the pivot of every covenant child of God. According to him, grace is not the license to sin but the consciousness to retrace one’s step back to God when one has fallen into sin. “Grace has its roots in the covenant and without the new covenant, grace will never exist,” he said.
Speaking from Jude 1:4 and Ephesians 2, he said that Christianity is not legalism. The grace of God, he said, works in a believer to will and to do what is pleasing to Him. The new covenant, according to Pastor Taiwo, becomes effective in the life of a believer just by believing. “Don’t trust in your ability to please God; it is a covenant with Him that enables you to do His will,” he stated.
He encouraged all not to fear as there is always rest for a covenant child of God. In his words, “When God takes you on a journey of covenant, fear disappears.”
