Pastor Nomthi has urged believers not to be afraid of the enemy or his activities because God, who is their Protector, Shield and Lifter of their heads will always be there to deliver them. She said this at the March 4 Sunday service while admonishing the congregation from Psalm 3:3, which is the promise for the week. “Every arrow pointed towards you will reach the shield first, so that means it will not reach you because your Shield will protect you,” she said.
According to her, no circumstance or report should make them lose focus on God as that is the devil’s way of getting their attention. She encouraged them to rather focus on God and always praise Him for His covenant which cannot be broken. “Irrespective of the report the world or the devil has given you, believe your God and continue to sing praises to Him because He is your glory and He will make you shine. Nobody will take away your glory because no man gave it to you in the first place,” she said.

Just as the devil came to Jesus to test him, asking Him to throw Himself down as recorded in Matthew 4:6, so does he come to God’s children to test them. And he does this through different means just to make them forget their identity in Christ. Pastor Nomthi said this at the March 1 Thursday Showers service while admonishing them on standing firm in God and His word. “The devil wants you to throw yourself down so he can laugh and have satisfaction but he will fail in Jesus’ name. Just reply him with God’s word,” she said.
She urged Christians to remain steadfast in God, no matter the tribulations, and not relinquish their position as covenant children of God. “Whatever the enemy is telling you to do so as to throw you down, do not do it. Go back to God in His word and talk to Him,” she stated.
