Pastor Nomthi while encouraging the congregation at the March 25 Sunday service from Genesis 17:6, which is the promise for the week, said that nothing or no one can ever stop believers’ fruitfulness and multiplication because it is part of God’s covenant with His own.
According to her, God is a covenant God who keeps His promise. This is why God’s children need to always walk in the consciousness of their identity in Him. “He is a covenant keeping God, so your fruitfulness cannot be hindered by anyone or anything,” she said.
She then urged every believer to be ready and well-positioned in order to receive this promise of fruitfulness.
WORD OF EXHORTATION BY PASTOR NOMTHI ODUKOYA @THURSDAY SHOWERS
Pastor Nomthi, while admonishing the worshippers at the March 22 Thursday Showers service, said that believers should be careful of whatever could make them doubt God’s Word and thereby lead them to sin against Him. “Be careful what you open your ears to because the devil can use them to discourage you,” she said.
According to her, doubting God’s Word hinders a believer from enjoying His covenant, just as the children of Israel doubted and murmured against God in Numbers 14:1-4 and did not get to the Promised Land. She therefore urged them to focus on God’s Word and hold on to it. This, according to her, will keep them moving forward. “You will not go back to Egypt but you will keep going forward to the Promised Land,” she stated.
