Pastor Taiwo @ Sunday Services
In continuation of the message he started the previous Thursday, Pastor Taiwo at the February 4 Sunday services said that when believers are conscious of their covenant with God, they would always confront and resist the devil and he would flee from them. According to him, divine covenant is God’s availability to a believer and a believer’s availability to Him. “This covenant is a symbiotic relationship where God’s life is in you and yours is in Him,” he stated.
Speaking from Hebrew 13:20-21 and Ezekiel 36:24-27, he said that anyone who enters into a covenant with God through salvation already operates in the highest covenant that destroys every other negative covenant or generational curse. However, if such a believer does not understand this, he or she will still live like an ordinary person. “As a covenant child of God, don’t ever think you will face any battle alone,” he said.
He urged every believer never to forget who they are in Christ and to stay glued to His Word even in the face of daunting challenges. “You may be struck down but you can never be destroyed because you are a covenant child of God. You cannot be meditating on God’s Word and not manifest His grace and fruitfulness,” he stated.

“COVENANT: INSIDE CONSCIOUSNESS”
Pastor Taiwo @ Thursday Showers
With soul-lifting praise and worship as well as awesome testimonies of supernatural recovery of lost blessings, provision and breakthrough, the February 1 Thursday Showers service was an unforgettable experience. Pastor Taiwo in his message said that the believer’s ability to do God’s will has been perfected through the blood of Jesus. In his words, “God is more interested in us becoming like Him than in our doing. When you are like Him, you will do.”
Speaking from Hebrews 13:20-21, John 15:1-8 and 2 Corinthians 4:7, he said that the covenant God has with His children helps them become everything He has created them to be. According to him, abiding in Christ is the catalyst that makes believers bear fruits according to the covenant. “You are a full being in Jesus, but you have to constantly nurture in Him for growth. This is when you become like Him, which in turn will positively affect your doing,” he stated.
He therefore urged them to abide in Christ as that is the only way they can truly experience the reality of His covenant. “When you abide in Him, you can never be crushed or destroyed,” he said.
