With Destiny or Fate, we tried to create a balanced mix of two popular genres: card games and roguelikes. You can choose the tactics that best suit your play style: you can fight bosses or go on a treasure hunt; You can fight amazing creatures and defeat them or add them to your party.

But be careful – if your hero dies in the middle of the adventure, you have to start all over again!

Different heroes with unique abilities

Each time you start the game, you’ll go on a journey with one of the heroes you unlock. As you progress through the game you unlock new heroes. Each hero has their own special abilities that can be upgraded. Some heroes have powerful offensive abilities, while others are responsible for maintaining your team’s defense.

In Fate or Destiny, heroes cannot be “directly controlled”. However, the player can use the hero’s unique abilities every time he plays a certain set of cards. Therefore, the strategies you use during card battles will vary greatly depending on your hero. Heroes also have passive abilities that don’t need to be activated.

Each character in the game has a background that is reflected in their personality and abilities.

Build your own party strategically

Except for bosses, you can add every monster you encounter during your adventure to your party. Recruit monsters with abilities that gave you trouble so you can do the same to the next enemy you encounter in battle.

Just like heroes, you can upgrade your monsters’ abilities by collecting treasures. With your unique cards, your hero and the monsters you defeat as you play, you can create a team to suit your unique play style.

Needless to say, achieving this perfect combination is no small feat!
