Pastor Taiwo has admonished believers to start thinking and living as kings, as that is who they are Christ. He said this at the September 2 Sunday service. According to him, those who have received God’s overflowing grace through Christ’s death and resurrection are meant to reign in life as kings. “As a child of God, you have been created by God to have dominion and rule as a king,” he said.
Speaking from Genesis 1:16-29, Romans 5:17, Psalm 8:3-8 and Ephesians 2:1, he said that man was created to be a king, although he lost this through sin; he was however restored to his kingly position through the redemptive work of Christ. This reality, he said, will manifest in the lives of believers who understand, think and live accordingly. “It’s time to move from just quoting the Bible to living the Word of God. Reign in life because you are a king by creation and redemption,” he stated.
He urged them to live in humility and by serving others because those are critical attributes of a king. “In the Kingdom, our reigning and ruling is in serving,” he said.
“THE NAME OF JESUS”

Pastor Abiodun Soderu during the August 30 Thursday Showers service said that the name of Jesus is the most powerful and mentioned name both in heaven and on earth. According to him, the name is a game changer and does not owe the devil any apology. “There is life, light and security in the name of Jesus. If you don’t have Christ, you don’t have life and light,” he said.
Speaking from Matthew 1:18-21, Philippians 2:3-11 and Hebrews 13:8, he said that anyone who has Christ and understands the efficacy of the name of Jesus would definitely get the blessings that the name brings. He further noted that the devil does not like to hear the name because of the defeat it brought and still brings to him; and this is why he would not want anyone to mention the name.
He urged all to never bow to the threat of the devil but to always believe in Christ and get their victory through the name of Jesus. “As a child of God, you are never at a disadvantage. The Jesus in you makes you stand out and overcome every circumstance,” he stated.
