Just as the effect of the wind is felt in any environment even though it is not seen, so also is the effect of the Holy Spirit felt in the life of a believer. This wind can either come as a gentle breeze or a mighty hurricane, but it does not cease blowing in the lives of genuine children of God. Pastor Taiwo said this at the May 20 Sunday service as he continued the message he started the previous Thursday. “Anytime the wind blows, there will be changes, whether or not things want to be changed,” he said.
Speaking from John 3:1-13, he said that the wind of the Holy Spirit in a believer does not just affect the peripheral but also the inside. According to him, lives are cleansed and transformed, and negative things are uprooted when the wind of the Holy Spirit blows. “When the wind of the Spirit blows, it comes with life, changes things, scourges and cleanses lives, uproots negativity and then deposits life,” he stated.
He then urged every believer to allow the Holy Spirit work in them by meditating on the Word of God, fellowshipping with Him, trusting Him and praying. “You are a covenant child of God walking with your Creator; so you are unstoppable. Just let the wind keep blowing,” he said.

Pastor Taiwo at the May 17 Thursday Showers service said that being born of the Spirit is an experience that cannot be explained, just as the activities or movement of the wind cannot be explained. This makes every believer a mystery, something the world cannot explain. “There is a kind of mystery concerning you once you become born again,” he said.
Speaking from John 3:1-8, he said that for anyone to become this mystery to the world, such a person must be born again. He further said that just as the effect of the wind is always felt, so also is the effect of the Holy Spirit in the life of believers felt because their lives are directed by this Wind.
He therefore urged them to allow the full work of the Holy Spirit in their lives as therein lies their fulfilling purpose. “You have a responsibility not to hinder the work of the Holy Spirit in your life by tarrying in His presence and meditating on His Word. If you fellowship more with the Spirit of God, the real you will manifest,” he stated.
