Pastor Taiwo @Sunday Service
Pastor Taiwo at the September 3 Sunday service said God has truly set before His children an open door as stated in Revelation 3:7-9, but everyone needs to make it personal. This, he said, can be achieved by meditating on the word of God and allowing the Holy Spirit to enlighten one on the word. “If you dwell on God’s word and walk in the Spirit, you will see and hear differently from the people of the world,” he said.
According to him, this process will affect the choices we make; it will lead us to live according to the Spirit and be pleasing God with our lives rather than live according to the flesh and fulfill its lusts.
He then encouraged everyone from Hebrews 12:1-2 to keep their eyes on Jesus who is the Author and Finisher of our faith and to let Him be the centre of every of our activities. “The moment you go against what God says or is doing, you will prolong your journey. But if you spend your life pursuing His glory, everything created will work for your own glory,” he said.

ALWAYS GIVE THANKS TO GOD
Pastor Tosin @Thursday Showers
Being the last Thursday of the month, the August 31 Showers service was declared a thanksgiving service unto God.
Pastor Tosin Sowemimo who led the worshippers in the different sessions of the thanksgiving service, said that God’s protection from the arrows of the devil from the beginning of the year, as well as His numerous blessings and breakthroughs in all ramifications of life, were enough reasons to give thanks to Him.
She stated that God still deserves our praise even for the seeming unanswered prayers and for those situations which hurt and make us cry. This, according to her, is because He permits such and will make those situations work together for our good as recorded in Romans 8:28. “So, even if you can’t feel He has done anything, give thanks, because He will definitely make everything right,” she said.
She urged all from John 16:1-14 and John 11:1-44 to always come with faith as they bring their praise to God and lay their anxieties down at His feet. “God inhabits your praise, so don’t ever be tired of giving it to Him. It gives Him pleasure and delights Him,” she stated.
