PASTOR NOMTHI’S WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT @SUNDAY SERVICE
God wants you, as His child, to see how beautiful His promises towards you are and then possess them. Pastor Nomthi said this while admonishing the congregation at the July 9 Sunday service from Deuteronomy 1:21, which is the promise of the week. “He has given you everything; so all you need to do is to see it and then possess it,” she said.
According to her, God has prepared a lot of blessings for His children but some of them are so distracted by circumstances which have blinded them from seeing and possessing those blessings. She advised them to trust God for His words, focus on the blessings He has already given them and then possess them. “Stop focusing on yourself or things around you; look unto God. He has everything and has given them to you,” she stated.

Pastor Nomthi at the July 6 Thursday Showers service reassured the worshippers that part of their heritage in Christ is victory over the scheming of their enemies. According to her, any machination of the evil one over them will always be thwarted and condemned because God is their fighter and defender. “You don’t need to be afraid because God is your fighter and He can easily catch your enemy,” she said.
Dwelling on Isaiah 54:17, she said that God is always by His children’s side to save them from the wiles of the enemy. He does this, according to her, by confusing the enemies and turning their counsels to foolishness just like He did to Ahithophel to save His son David (in 2 Samuel 15:31).
She then enjoined them to believe God’s word and always thank Him for the victory already won for them. “Trust Him because He has never lost a battle. Be assured of the victory He promised you and give Him thanks for it,” she said.
