Pastor Nomthi has enjoined believers to confront their troubles and challenges with all boldness, with the assurance that the Lord would always fight for them. She said this during the December 9 Sunday service while dwelling on the promise for the week in Exodus 14:14. “Don’t put yourself in danger by running helter-skelter. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, because the enemy will not consume you. You will surely overcome,” she said.
According to her, whenever the enemies are scheming and plotting against God’s children, the Lord who is the Man of war would arise to fight for them, and He has never lost a battle and would not start with them. “So thank Him for winning the battle on your behalf,” she admonished.
PASTOR NOMTHI’S WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT @THURSDAY SHOWERS
Pastor Nomthi at the December 6 Thursday Showers service said that when God steps into one’s situation, whatever challenges one is facing loses their names and meaning, just like it happened for the paralyzed man in Luke 5:17-26. “You will not need to respect the situation again, and you wouldn’t need to call it by its name again,” she said.
According to her, the essence of the miraculous in one’s life is to further enable one reflect on God and praise Him more. In her words, “After you have been healed, you don’t celebrate yourself but go home to His presence to worship Him and show forth His glory.”
She therefore urged them not to forsake the presence of the Lord, whether in private or in the assembly of other believers. “The presence of the Lord is your home and when you stay there, nothing will be able to stop you,” she stated.
