Speaking from Genesis 17:6 which is the promise for the week, Pastor Nomthi at the December 2 Sunday service said that God is a loving and concerned Father who will not fail in fulfilling His promises to His children.
According to her, God’s promises to His children will always come to pass, just as His promise to Abraham came to pass. “When God promises, it comes to pass. So you need to have this knowing so that your behaviour can align with the promises,” she said.
She urged them to deliberately develop the capacity to handle the manifestation of God’s promises for them. “You need to know how to raise kings and handle nations, starting with the ones (children) God has given you,” she stated.

Dwelling on the account of King Nebuchadnezzar’s experience in Daniel 4:34-37, Pastor Nomthi at the November 29 Thursday Showers service explained that God always debases those who give glory to and take pride in themselves. “Having an understanding of what God has done for you, you ought to always give glory to Him,” she said.
According to Pastor Nomthi, the devil will always throw the bait of disobedience to God’s warnings and instructions to believers. She however encouraged them to ensure they are not caught in the snare of the devil. “Your prayers should constantly be the opening of your reasons to initiate your praises to God,” she stated.
