Pastor Nomthi has encouraged believers never to doubt God but trust Him to fulfill His promise to them no matter what happens. She said this at the October 14 Sunday service while dwelling on the promise for the week in Luke 1:45. “God is not a comedian. When He says something, He means it. If He has spoken a word over you, He wants you to believe Him so that there would be a fulfillment,” she said
She noted that the devil would always come to believers with unbelief so as to make them lose their miracles. This, she said, would be kicked out if believers up their game in faith and hold on to God’s words over them. “God’s children definitely have promises from Him, and if they believe, no matter what happens, they will come to pass,” she stated.
PASTOR NOMTHI’S WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT @ THURSDAY SHOWERS
Speaking from Galatians 2:20, Pastor Nomthi during the October 11 Thursday Showers service said that being crucified with Christ for a believer means being dead to self and the distractions of the world. According to her, such a believer no longer makes decision without first thinking about Christ. “It is no longer you who live, so you will always think about Jesus first before you make any decision. You can longer take matters into your hands because your decision is no more yours but that of the Person you are connected to,” she said.
Using Jesus’ words on the cross as an illustration, she noted that believers whose lives are in Christ would have a compassionate heart, ignore ridicule from negative people, put things in order around them through positive confession, thirst after righteousness, always remember that Christ has taken all their shame away and believe that it is finished.
