Speaking from Exodus 14:14 which is the promise for the week, Pastor Nomthi at the September 2 Sunday service said that God is always ready to fight for His children if they would allow Him and hold their peace. “You must hold your peace and allow God fight for you. When you’re still, whatever problem is chasing after you would go back,” she said.
According to her, worrying, murmuring, complaining and lack of trust in God are noises which can hinder God from fighting for them. “God cannot fight in a noisy environment. He waits for you to be still and take anxiety and worry off your mind. Anything that blocks God from fighting for you is a noise. Remove those noises from around you, hold your peace and see God fight for you,” she enjoined.
She urged them to give God praise, instead of murmuring, and watch Him give them victory over their challenges as He gave the Israelites victory over the Egyptians. “All you should do is praise, worship and bow down before Him so that He will have room to fight for you,” she stated.
