Speaking from Matthew 10:30-31, which is the promise for the week, Pastor Nomthi at the September 17 Sunday service encouraged the congregation never to be afraid of anything because they already have victory in Jesus and it is from that position they should react to anything that confronts them. “The devil has no hold over you, because he does not know the number of your hair strands; only God does. God knows every little detail about you,” she stated.
She explained that the devil only uses painful past experiences to torment people thereby leaving rejection, failure or hurts in their lives. But a child of God, she said, should confront the devil and every negative situation from the point of victory given to them by Christ Jesus. This, she added, would bring the victory in Christ into physical manifestation. “Don’t listen to the lies of the devil. The blood of Jesus speaks better things concerning you. Do not be afraid, you are of more value than many sparrows. You are unstoppable,” she said.

Believers have been encouraged to always be expectant in the presence of God because such expectations will be met. Pastor Nomthi said this at the September 14 Thursday Showers service. “You should cultivate the attitude of being excited in His presence because there is no time you come into His presence that God will not do something,’’ she said.
Speaking from Psalm 100:1-4, she said that the proof of being expectant before God is joy and faith in His word. “Be excited whenever you are in the presence of your lover, Jesus Christ, because it is what shows you are expectant. Therefore be thankful to God and bless His name in every situation,” she said.
