SOMETHING BETTER

SOMETHING BETTER

Pastor Taiwo Odukoya @ Sunday Service

Preceded by an intensive session of worship, the Senior Pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, Taiwo Odukoya declared July as the Month of Supernatural Breakthrough to the congregation, citing 2 Samuel 5:19 – 22 as the focus Scripture. He encouraged the people to lay hold of the Scriptures that had been shared in the past and meditate diligently on them for desired results.

Speaking on the topic, ‘’Something Better’’, Pastor Taiwo took his main texts from Hebrews 11: 39 – 40 and 12: 1- 3 to note that faith is the most important virtue every Christian should have. Highlighting the critical nature of faith in the Kingdom, he mentioned that true love could only be activated by faith and that it enabled the elders of old to finish well. Additionally, Pastor Taiwo declared that faith is the isolating factor in the face of dire challenges. He taught that faith in God delivers even from the most terrible situations.

Drawing further attention to the significance of the subject, Pastor Taiwo stated that ordinary people are empowered to command greatness through faith; declaring that faith transforms and changes situations. The clergy further pointed out that faith is the key to obtaining the promises already extended through the Word. He admonished the congregation to stand firm on God’s Word; affirming that, nothing can stop any Covenant Child of God who knows who he or she is.

He finally told them to always see themselves as lights and must shine in the dark world. “We are the light. So, it is important to see, be assured, and declare what God has said concerning you.

HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT

Pastor Taiwo Odukoya @ Thursday showers

Admonishing the worshippers at the June 24 Thursday showers from 2 Corinthians 12:7-10, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya said that God is fully aware of whatever believers go through and will not leave them abandoned. He said this while noting that, no matter how fierce those challenges are, God is fully aware and will not allow such challenges see their end. “Such challenges at times are there to show that you are still human, so that you won’t elevate yourself above measure,” he said.

Citing the example of the three Hebrew children who were thrown into the fire because they didn’t bow to the graven image of Nebuchadnezzar, the clergy said that God’s grace will always be sufficient for believers who hold on to Him. “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is always sufficient for you and will see you through your assignments in life,” he said

He therefore urged them to keep their focus on their purpose and assignment while they allow God’s grace take care of the rest. “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is ever present and will always be with you.”
