Thanksgiving is not so much what you talk about but what you do. It is an intentional act. Pastor Taiwo said this at the November 18 Sunday service which was the grand finale of the week-long Worship His Majesty conference. “Give thanks in everything, not for everything. You may not be able to thank God for everything but you are expected by His grace to give thanks in every situation,” he said.
Speaking from Luke 7:36-48 and 17:11-19, he noted that true thanksgiving comes from within and paves way for so many benefits, including attracting more benevolence and provoking divine wisdom. “You cannot miss it with thanksgiving,” he stated.
He then encouraged all never to stop giving thanks to God in whatever situation they find themselves. In his words, “It is the will of God for you to give thanks at all times.”

Pastor Taiwo Thursday Showers
Pastor Taiwo during the November 15 Thursday Showers service said that God does not waste resources; when His Spirit comes on believers, it is for service. “God deals with us in covenant and His anointing. Every Christian is anointed of God, and His Spirit teaches us all things,” he noted.
Speaking from Luke 4:18-19 and 1 John 2:20-27, he said that the deepest of valley or fiercest of storm will obey God’s children, especially as they keep listening to Him and get busy with their divine assignment. “Everywhere the anointing of God is present, there is an assignment. Let the Spirit of God do what it is assigned to do in your life,” he stated.
He then urged them to focus on their assignment as therein lies their promotion. “God has a purpose for all of us. Until it comes to manifestation, don’t doubt it because that will be a disservice to God who chose you,” he said.
