Pastor Nomthi at the Thursday Showers service of May 4 admonished the congregation from Psalm 18:36-39, saying that when a believer sets his or her faith in God, he or she gets the power to defeat his or her enemies. According to her, anything that wants to stop a child of God from achieving purpose in life is an enemy, but victory is always for His own.
She implored all never to joke with the Word of God because that is the best weapon for waging war against the enemy and be certain of overcoming. “Though the enemy strikes, it will not touch you because you are a child of God empowered with the Word with which to fight the enemy. So, inflict injury on your enemy with your mouth,” she enjoined.
