Pastor Nomthi, on Sunday June 16, urged believers to always introduce Jesus into whatever difficult situation they may find themselves in. Reading from Luke 3:5 which is the promise for the week, she said that life could be like a roller coaster, going up, down and in curves. Sometimes when we think we are at the top, we suddenly find ourselves going down or even in sharp bends, she said. This, like a roller coaster, can be quite uncomfortable, she said. She therefore encouraged believers to introduce Jesus, and every mountain, valley or crooked path will be levelled, filled up and smoothened out for them. “Once you introduce Jesus in your valley, it is elevated. Introduce Him to your mountain and it is levelled. He will smoothen every crooked way trying to distract you in Jesus name,” she declared.
WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT FROM PASTOR NOMTHI ODUKOYA (THURSDAY SHOWERS)
Sharing from Micah 6:3-8, Pastor Nomthi, at the Thursday Showers service held on June 13, asked believers to always remember all the good things God has done for them instead of complaining. She explained that forgetfulness and ingratitude would make God question our trust in Him as seen in the reference scripture. No testimony of ours, she stated, can stand against God. She therefore encouraged believers to live a life of praise, remembering and thanking God in spite of whatever challenges they may face. “God wants us to remember all He has done for us and to praise Him in spite of the challenges we may face. Whatever situation you find yourself, know that all things, whether good or bad, are working together for your good,” she said.
