Speaking from Joshua 1:3 which is the promise for the week, Pastor Nomthi at the January 6 Sunday service noted that God’s possessions given to believers are not to be rented out to negative attitudes, which she referred to as bad tenants. “You are not renting out any space of your God-given possessions to bad spirits and attitudes,” she said.
According to her, believers need to guide whatever possession God has given them jealously so as to avoid invasion from the enemy. “Guide your house with all diligence, it belongs to God. Let the devil know that you are fully occupied by the Spirit of God, so no renting out to bad tenants,” she urged.
WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT FROM PASTOR NOMTHI @ THURSDAY SHOWERS
Pastor Nomthi told the worshippers at the January 3 Thursday Showers service that the best thing believers can do for themselves is to trust God totally because it causes Him to move on their behalf. “You can go beyond God loving and looking at you to Him loving and moving for you by trusting Him,” she said.
Speaking from 1 Peter 5:10, she said that God will always perfect, establish, strengthen and settle those who trust Him, no matter how much they have suffered. “No matter how much pain you are feeling in the night, just keep remembering that the morning is coming,” she enjoined.
She then urged them to never be weary of trusting God because it pleases Him and makes Him move in their favour.
