Pastor Nomthi Odukoya, while taking the promise of the week from Proverbs 18:10, told the congregation at the October 18 Sunday service that the name of the Lord still remains a strong tower that the righteous who comes into it can find safety. “No enemy shall find us under the shadow of His wings because the name of the Lord is a strong structure,” She said.
Pastor Nomthi who revealed before the congregation that when they call upon the name of Jesus, no enemies would be able stand before them, noting that Jesus is the only name that can save them. She equally said the worshippers are pulling down strong holds and destroying the camp of the enemies when they call upon the name of Jesus.
She then urged Christians to always run to God, adding that they should at all times call on the name of Jesus. She said, “When the battle becomes so fierce, we know where to run to. It is only the righteous that can run to the strong tower and would be safe. We are hiding under the strong tower because we have the power and Jesus has done the work.”
