Speaking from Luke 18:27 which is the promise for the week, Pastor Nomthi at the March 10 Sunday service said that all things are possible with God—to those who believe Him and not judge Him by their understanding or circumstances. “When people experience very difficult situations, they tend to doubt if God can do it. But always remember that God is the one who can do what has never been done before,” she said.
She urged them never to doubt God but trust Him always. “Remember, with men these things are impossible, but with God all things are possible. So don’t judge God by your situation because His ways are better and higher than yours,” she stated.
WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT FROM PASTOR NOMTHI ODUKOYA @ THURSDAY SHOWERS
Pastor Nomthi has encouraged parents to always keep watch over their children as the devil is roaming about seeking to destroy them. She gave this encouragement at the March 7 Thursday Showers service.
Using the boldness of the Israelites who confronted Pharaoh to demand the freedom of their children along with theirs (Exodus 10:8-9) as an illustration, she said that parents would set their children free from destruction by setting up godly strategies around them.
This, she said, would be achieved by praying for them, anointing them with oil, taking the communion with them daily, encouraging them to read and confess God’s words, and communicating with them often. “This will help them to always be confident and proud of who they are. Your children will not be confused in Jesus name,” she said.
